• Craig ran the Billington Goalie School between 1982 and 2004, 23 seasons total. The school finally closed in August of 2004 in order that Billington focus on his NHL coaching duties.
• At 23rd overall, Craig was the top goaltender selected in the 1984 National Hockey League entry draft (to the New Jersey Devils). The Hockey News' draft preview issue had him rated as the number five goaltending prospect in the draft.
• During his rookie season of 1985-86, Craig would occasionally work as the New Jersey Devils' radio colour commentator during games when he did not dress.
