Quoting The Hockey News' 1982 Yearbook: "During a game in Chicago, while Palmateer calmly watched his Caps apply perssure at the opposite end of the ice, teammate Paul Mulvey picked up the puck to the side of the Chicago goal and sent it lazily to the point. Unfortunately, no one was there to gather it in. The disk slowly rolled the length of the ice towards Palmateer who waited to retrieve it in front of his goal. Then, almost as if it was an illusion, the puck jumped from the ice surface and before you could say "Save!" it was behind the astonished goalie. Greg Fox, the last Hawk to touch the puck, received credit for the gift goal."

  CORRECT ANSWER: The Detroit Red Wings set the record for the greatest number of wins in N.H.L. history in 1995-96, and goaltender Chris Osgood racked up thirty-nine of then.
  THREE-POINT QUESTION: Before starring for the Montreal Canadiens, Ken Dryden was also a star for his collegiate team. Name that team.
  CORRECT ANSWER: Ken Dryden starred for Cornell University, leading them to two national championships with a goals-against average of 1.60.
