Six Shutouts in One Postseason
On May 31, 2002, Dominik Hasek of the Detroit
Red Wings became the first player in National Hockey League history to
record five shutouts in a single postseason. On June 10, Hasek extended the
mark with his sixth whitewashing. On May 29, 2003, New Jersey's
Marty Brodeur equalled Hasek with his
sixth shutout of the postseason.

Four Shutouts in One Postseason
Fifteen goaltenders have recorded four shutouts in a single National Hockey
League postseason (two have done this twice), and their teams have usually
