Traded by Roadrunners to California Golden Seals for cash, October 1, 1974.
California franchise relocated to Cleveland and renamed "Barons", August 26, 1976.
Traded by Cleveland (with Jim Moxey) to Los Angeles Kings for G Gary Edwards and Juha Widing, January 22, 1977.

DID YOU KNOW?

Gary received his nickname from WHL Phoenix's Bob Barlow - a reporter said that he was like a snake in the nets that night, and Barlow yelled "Yeah, like a cobra."
Due to a mistake by the artist, Gary's "cobra" mask had rattlers on the tail.
During his playing days, Gary owned three pizza parlors in the San Francisco area.
