• On March 16, 2004, Chris earned his 300th National Hockey League victory at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Osgood stopped thirty-one shots as his Blues defeated the Kings in a crucial late-season battle for the eighth Western Conference playoff spot. "We should have carried him off the ice, beacuse he carried us in this game," teammate Keith Tkachuk said of Osgood. "He played excellent and made some unbelievable saves near the end. They had us on our heels, but he made big stop after big stop."
