FIRSTS:

Adam had an unusual National Hockey League debut. On Saturday, January 14, 2006, Adam was backing up starter Mathieu Garon at the HSBC Center in Buffalo, as the Los Angeles Kings faced the hometown Sabres. Adam replaced Garon not once but twice in this game, spelling him after a goal-scoring burst early in the first period, and then later at 10:46 for good. Hauser stopped eighteen of twenty-four shots in a 10-1 Buffalo drubbing.
