DID YOU KNOW?
- On March 23, 2010, Nathan was called up and signed to an amateur tryout contract by the Edmonton Oilers. With Devan Dubnyk out with the flu, the Oilers were stuck for a replacement as no farm team goaltenders could make it to Edmonton by game time. They finally found Deobald. "I actually missed the call," said Deobald, a drama student. "After class, when I checked out all the messages from my coaches at the university and made the call I wasn’t sure if I should believe them or not." Deobald backed up starter Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers in the contest, a 3-2 win over Vancouver.
