FIRSTS:

Scott made his first National Hockey League start, picked up his first league win and picked up his first league shutout all in the same night, on January 20, 2004 at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. A surprise last-minute starter for the New Jersey Devils, Clemmensen was called up after Corey Schwab injured a groin the previous night. He withstood a brief flurry of shots early in the first period, and stopped twenty-five shots overall.
